Listen to the Word
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
“I will help you.” That is God’s fourth fear-busting promise to you in Isaiah 41:10.
I bet you would be terrified by the task of landing an airplane – unless an experienced pilot was in the chair beside you offering to help. If you had to cook a gourmet meal for your boss, you’d be pretty intimidated, but not if your favorite Food Network stars were there to lend a hand. You’d have a hard time lifting a 200 pound box by yourself, but you could do it easily with assistance from a group of NFL offensive linemen.
Likewise, the thought of facing the challenges in your life alone may cause heart palpitations. But God - the infinitely strong, limitlessly wise, boundlessly loving God – promises to help.
Don’t be afraid, for he will help you!
Live the Word
Take God up on his offer to help. Ask him to assist you with a difficult task that is before you today.
