Join 2025's Winter Weekend! January 17-19, this is a D-Now style retreat where students can stay at homes in the area and attend Breakouts with guest speakers.m We are pleased to welcome Kimberley McElroy, Suzanne Wiley, Todd and Angela Ellett, Felton Bishop, Max Magee, Sara McElroy, and Abram Bagunu as our breakout speakers. We will be providing Christmas dinner from 11 AM to 12:30 PM on Christmas day for those who are alone or in need. The meal can be eaten at our church, picked up, or delivery can be requested. There are various ways to help, and you can volunteer to do that on our website or at the Missions Hub in the Worship Center lobby. For a meal to be delivered, email or call the church office (816-525-0700) by December 18.

Caroline Cooper will be leading a once-a-month Zoom Bible Study on the third Thursday of each month, 6:30 PM, beginning January 16. The study will be "Practicing Basic Spiritual Disciplines" by Charles Stanley. The books cost around $10 each, and will be ordered once we know the number of ladies interested. After breakfast, we’ll explore the ancient wisdom of the Shema—a powerful Old Testament prayer that reminds you to give God your whole self AND promises some incredible things when you trust Him. It’s for men of ALL ages! Whether you’ve got a few miles on you or you’ve still got that ‘new car smell’, come together, share some laughs, and walk away ready to thrive in the year ahead!
To sign up, grab a Next Steps Card from the pew (you know, it’s always right in front of you), jot down your info, and write ‘Men’s Breakfast’ in the comments—or do the same thing on the form above!
