Listen to the Word

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.  (Psalm 96:3)

This week’s Scripture commands us to brag on God to the world. God wants you to tell everybody who he is and what he has done. You were made to be a missionary.

Something is wrong if you spend an hour every Sunday morning singing your heart out about how great God is, and about how proud of him you are, but then you leave the church and keep him to yourself for the rest of the week. You have a divine assignment to be a declarer. God wants you to be so impressed with him that you can’t keep yourself from talking about him with anyone who will listen.

Live the Word

Tell God that you don’t want your praise to be limited to Sundays, and you don’t want it to be just between you and him. Ask him to help you to be willing to brag on him to others.
