Listen to the Word
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. (Revelation 22:13)

We end our exploration of the “I am” sayings of Jesus with some big claims from the last book of the Bible. Jesus wants you to know that he is everything. He is A to Z, alpha and omega. He is the first thing and the last thing that matters. He is the beginning of all things; he is also the goal, the end to which everything is moving.

So what about you? Who do you say Jesus is? Let’s agree with his self-assessment. Jesus is the bread of life. He is the light of the world. He is the gate and the good shepherd. He is the resurrection and the life. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the vine. He is the living one. He is alpha and omega, first and last, beginning and end. Jesus is everything!
