Listen to the Word
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. (Psalm 96:3)
Psalm 96:3 says it is your job to tell people how great God is. The verse commands you to declare two things. First, you are called to brag about God’s “glory.” That means declaring his essence, his majesty, his beauty, his God-ness.
Second, you are called to brag about his “marvelous deeds.” That means announcing what he has done – calling attention to the fact that he is the one who designed the universe, the one who invented life and food and laughter and love. It means giving him public credit as the one who rescued you and the one who strengthens you to stand in hard times.
Tell people who God is and what he has done. Declare his glory and his marvelous deeds!
Live the Word
Think of one of the impressive things God has done in your life. Thank him for it, and ask him to give you an opportunity to tell someone else about it.
