Listen to the Word

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  (John 3:16)

This week we will continue to explore the truth that God is a giver. The most famous Scripture in the Bible tells us that God so loved that he GAVE. 

It is God’s very nature to give. And the most extravagant gift he ever gave was the gift of his one-of-a-kind Son. It was a gift of astonishing love. God saw a world that was rebelling against him, running from him, ignoring him - and he gave his perfect Son to that world. If we receive that gift - if we put our confidence in God’s Son - we can trade our dying for his life. God is a giver, and he gives us the gift of his Son.
