Listen to the Word

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.  (Psalm 19:14)

God is intently tuned in to what is going on inside you. He wants to find things that please him in “the meditation of (your) heart.” The word translated “meditation” literally means “muttering.” What are the mutterings of your heart? What are the things that your mind repeatedly returns to, the things you turn over and over, the things you intentionally dwell on and obsess about? God wants you to soak your mind in thoughts that bring life to you - thoughts that are pleasing in his sight.

Live the Word

God is your Rock and your Redeemer - seek to hold that truth before your mind as often as possible today. Let that reality be the meditation of your heart.
