SCRIPTURE MEMORY EMPHASIS: As you memorize Isaiah 48:17b this week, take time to practice Lectio Divina. It has four parts: Read, Reflect, Respond, Rest. "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17b NIV
- Read: Read Isaiah 48:17b out loud slowly.
- Reflect: Read the verse out loud a second time. Ask yourself “What does it mean?”
- Respond: Read the verse out loud a third time. Talk to God about the verse.
- Rest: Read the verse a fourth time. Sit quietly for a minute, resting.
