Listen to the Word

…The greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Love is the core of God’s character. The Bible goes so far as to say that God IS love. It is his essence. It defines who He is. And God wants love to define who we are as his children. Love is God’s highest priority for your life. It is the most important thing he wants you to get right. If you don’t have love, it doesn’t matter if your words can move the masses. If you don’t have love, it doesn’t matter if you have all the answers, or if you have enough faith to make a mountain do jumping jacks. If you don’t have love, it doesn’t matter if you lead the nation in charitable contributions. Love matters most. Love is the greatest.
