Listen to the Word

“What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify him!” (Matthew 27:22)

Pilate asks what may be the most important question of the Gospel of Matthew: what shall I do with Jesus the Messiah? The crowd gives an awful answer: crucify him!

Let’s see if we can give some better answers. What shall we do with Jesus the Messiah? We should follow him. Adore him. Trust him. Praise him. Proclaim him. Admire him. Obey him. Study him. Ponder him. Worship him. Live for him.
