Listen to the Word

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (Revelation 4:11)

You could make an endless list of reasons God deserves our awe and admiration. Revelation 4:11 mentions one that could go near the top: God is worthy because he created everything that is. The ground underneath you, the air entering your lungs, the bird flying past your window - they all exist because God decided he wanted them to exist. Because he absolutely overflows with creative power, and because he wanted a universe to care for and creatures to love, he created. He made it all. He is worthy!

Live the Word

This week, be deliberate about spending time praising God as the Creator. Notice the things God has created and allow them to remind you of how worthy he is.
