Listen to the Word
“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:18)

We will spend the week reflecting on verses that remind us that God is our Father and we are his kids.

It is an honor to be a creature of God - just some little something that the great God has made. But God wants you to be even more. It is an honor to be a servant of God - someone who works for him and dutifully obeys his instructions. But God wants you to be even more. God wants you to be his child! He wants you to be in a loving relationship with him in which he protects you, provides for you, guides you, and embraces you. God invites you into his family. He yearns to be your Father.

Live the Word
Begin all of your prayers this week by addressing God as “Father.” As you do, reflect on the privilege that is yours to be his child.
