Listen to the Word

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

God is so good that his expressions of compassion are new every morning. You never have to dig out yesterday’s leftovers and reheat them - God fills your plate with a fresh supply of blessings every day. There are no reruns - every day is a brand new episode in the story of your life in God’s loving hands. He is so limitlessly faithful that he will never skip a day of caring for you, and he is so unendingly creative that he can come up with new ways to be good to you every single day. God wants you to get out of bed in the morning with anticipation, wondering what compassions he has in store for you that day.
