Listen to the Word

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”    (Galatians 5:25)

To become a Christian is to make a once-for-all decision that you are going to go God’s way instead of your own. But the Christian journey doesn’t end with that one major decision. Every moment, you are choosing whether or not to keep in step with the Spirit. Every choice you make, every conversation you have, every action and every attitude – literally hundreds of times a day you are making a decision about whether or not to go the way the Spirit is leading. He is constantly speaking to you, beckoning you forward with him, and you are constantly deciding whether to listen or tune him out, whether to follow him or go another way.

Our Scripture challenges you to make it your pattern to say “yes” to God’s Spirit – to keep in step with him.
