CHRISTMAS IN A CAN: Ladies, you are invited to our Annual Christmas Brunch, CHRISTMAS IN A CAN, on December 8 from 9:30-11:30am. Join a table to help decorate at 9:30. Don't have a table? Connect with Jana Stidham or Anne Carter and they will match you with a great table leader! Also, bring your nonperishable canned goods to benefit Coldwater of LS and REAP of Raytown. And, don't forget to bring a yummy dish to share!
CHRISTMAS PROGRAMMING: Telling the Christmas story, through music, is never tiring! It is also a joy to hear and participate! This coming Sunday, December 9, you have that chance as the Sanctuary Choir, the Orchestra and the Handbells combine to tell that beautiful story of the Savior coming to earth. Join us at 6:30 PM as we present “Peace Has Come”.
And next Friday evening, December 14, Phil and Pam Morgan will present “Christmas Memories”. Tickets are available in the church office and they are FREE! Be here at 7:00 PM for the program.
Candlelight Services: Join us as we worship the Savior together at our Candlelight Services on Christmas Eve and 4:00 and 5:30pm.
Family Services: On December 23 and December 30, please join us at 10:00am for one Family Service. There will be NO Community Groups either Sunday.
BUILDING THE FUTURE TOURS: Tour Our Church Building: On Saturday, December 8, and Sunday, December 16, from 3:00-4:30 PM, tours of the facility, with an explanation of proposed changes for the education and family life center buildings, will be given for adults. It will begin in the Fellowship Hall with pie, coffee and conversation.
CHRISTMAS DINNER: We are once again offering a Christmas meal for those who can’t get out or who might be spending Christmas alone. It will be on Christmas Day, 11:00 - 1:00. If you are home-bound and would like a meal, you will need to sign up to receive this by December 17th.
To volunteer to help with this meal, please sign up at the Connections Hub next Sunday!
INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS OFFERING: Our International Missions Offering goal is $12,000 this year and will be split equally between the International Mission Board of the SBC and the Global Missions Offering of CBF. Please give as you are able to support the work of missionaries around the globe who share the love of Christ throughout the year.
